Let's Talk Anti-Asian Racism Town Hall
Join me for an on-line Townhall addressing the important issue of Anti-Asian Racism (this event took place on April 24, 2021). I am very concerned about the rise of anti-Asian racism in our city, which is both alarming and dangerous. As a community with a significant percentage of residents of many Asian heritages, we must understand and respond to anti-Asian racism, and indeed any kind of racism, when we hear, see, or experience it.
Dr. Henry Yu, Associate Professor of History at UBC and Principle of St. John’s College leads off this Townhall with a keynote address. He discusses how we have arrived at this place and what we can do about it.
