The Law Students' Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) operating out of the law faculty at the University of British Columbia is continuing to offer free legal services to residents of our community. Until May 2021, all services will be offered virtually. 

Each year, during the school term between September and April, LSLAP operates approximately 20 bi-weekly clinic sites across the lower mainland. During the summer, thanks to federal funding through the Canada Summer Jobs program, approximately 20 students are hired full-time to operate the clinics. 

There are likely going to be two clinics operating in our community this summer- at Kitsilano Neighborhood House and UBC. Once confirmed, I will share more information regarding the locations and hours of operation.
